Dark Nova, now aware that he cannot defeat Star Convoy with only his Great Galaman and Great Novaroid forces, decides to one-up the Autobots by resurrecting the greatest Decepticon Emperor of Destruction in history, Megatron! Megatron, who was eventually upgraded into Galvatron, was last seen buried alive beneath an iceberg in the North pole. Dark Nova uses his power to bring Galvatron back online and upgrades him into the unstoppable Super Megatron. Super Megatron bursts from beneath the ice, prepared to conquer the Earth.

Note: The Battlestars mail-away manga takes place shortly after this story page. It features Super Megatron's first encounter with Star Convoy as they duke it out at the North pole.
